Description:
Following community engagement period in 2020, Hovells Creek Reserve in Lara was selected as the site for the new Lara Dog Park. BC Garden was awarded the construction contract and construction commenced in October 2021 and completed in December 2021 on time.
One of the challenges during construction was working in area of cultural heritage sensitivity. Our team of experienced landscapers collaborated closely with the Heritage Advisor in following the Cultural Heritage Management Plan to finish the project to specification and in time whilst complying to the relevant regulations.
