Description:
Bellerine St/Lt Malop St is part of the Arrival Indicators Project aims to revitalise central Geelong and prioritise pedestrian traffic. The upgrade include a wombat crossing and a sitting area, as well as planted garden beds. Construction started in July 2021 and finished in September 2021.
To conduct our work safely on this busy intersection, and to ensure the safety of pedestrians and drivers, BC Garden developed and implemented a site-specific traffic management plan and work with experienced traffic controller.
